Today I will be showing you guys a few Butter London swatches. Butter London was one of the first polishes I got that was a little more pricey than I was used to. There are polishes that cost more, but I was accustomed to $5.00 max at the drug store. Once I splurged on Butter London I realized there was a reason these types of polishes cost more. Butter London Nail Lacquers are 7-free. Basically that means that they do not
add formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, camphor, DBP, toluene, xylene or
ethyl tosylamide to its nail formulas. In layman's terms - it's better for your nails! in addition to being 7-free, you get better coverage, an easier formula to work with, and a polish that dries to a glossy even finish.
These are a few of the swatches I have on hand.
First u pis Come to Bed. Red. This was the first Butter London polish I purchased as well as my first red! It's a beautiful cherry red. Formula was great, all it required was 2 coats. This is with Orly Bonder and Seche Vite to top it off!
Next we have Artful Dodger. I love this polish! I remember when I first put it on I was trying to read a book and I was so distracted by the color. It is unlike any other I have. It's a nice dusty cream teal that just melts into itself with each layer. Again, Orly Bonder, 2 coats of Artful Dodger, and Seche Vite.
